A Stress-Free Party
"What Does That Mean To You?"

Let's assume your party is two hours long and is from 11am - 1pm. (Some parents prefer afternoon parties. That's OK too).

Your young guests start to arrive shortly before 11am and continue arriving for a few minutes after. Quentin will get the children involved with a couple of games as they arrive. Best put the presents unopened to one side till later. Once all your young guests are present, Quentin's starts the magic show. Other parents are amazed at how quickly they settle and are roaring with laughter.

Now it's time for the Birthday trick. Today it's Emma's party and she comes up to help. The trick seems to be going wrong but with Emma's help all works out in the end and she is the heroine of the day. As a special reward she helps Quentin make a large balloon sculpture, which he gives to her providing she promises to take good care of it.

Quentin did the whole show. I should say he was very very professional and managed to keep the attention of 25 kids for 2 hours - first, with some nice games, and then in the second part, with a very entertaining magic show where our son was the star and helped Quentin with some of the tricks. One of the things we very much appreciated was that the parents didn't have to run after their 5-year-olds all the time, and could have a nice chat and enjoy the show themselves.

During the magic show, other boys and girls get the chance to come up and help and Quentin always makes a point of including any of Emma's brothers and sisters. (Sometimes they feel a bit left out on their sibling's special day).

At the end of the show (at the time arranged with you in case you have to prepare hot food) Quentin gets Emma to help again. She takes control of the microphone and calls out her friends names one by one. They then go to the food tables and you can seat them individually, as opposed to having a mad rush and everyone wanting to sit together.

After the food we all sing Happy Birthday to Emma as she blows out the candles. (It's very handy for you having the birthday cake now as you may want to cut it and put slices in with the party bags - you have plenty of time for this during the games).

After the party tea it's back over to Quentin who takes charge again now with games and competitions. What games he runs depend a lot on the audience and the venue. Sometimes it might be musical games with lots of movement and sometimes quieter party games - again all depending on the mood of the audience.

Quentin and Decco's ventriloquism actQuentin also provides prizes for the games and competitions, so that's one less item for you to worry about. Towards the end of the party Quentin introduces his cheeky assistant Decco Doyle, who helps bring the party to a hilarious finish and who insists that every boy and girl get a (free) souvenir Magic Quentin Fun Pack. The Fun Pack contains jokes, puzzles, riddles and magic tricks.

Suddenly it is the end of the party. The time has flown by. The children are excited at having had such a great time. While Quentin was running the games, you had plenty of time to clear up the tables, sit down and have a cuppa and. The guests are gone. you have the rest of the day free. Emma will entertain herself for hours opening and playing with her presents and you can relax, knowing you had a thoroughly stress-free party because you had the good sense to invite Magic Quentin, professional party entertainer.

“A big thank you to Quentin for a wonderful party. He was involved from beginning to end and really took the stress out of managing 20 + children. The party has been the talk of the town at the kid’s playground. I had high expectations as far as the magic was concerned, and these were all met, with aplomb – although aimed at the children, there was always something for the adults too. I hadn’t expected the party games to be such fun and so much better than pass-the-parcel and such – it kept the kids busy while we sorted out the food.

"It was a great afternoon my little boy & his friends had a fab time!  Quentin had his work cut out with 25 boisterous boys & 5 little girls & he was amazing with them."
Jo, Northwich.

"We just wanted to say a big thank you again to Quentin for making such a wonderful party for Ella. We thought he was absolutely marvellous - and so did all the children and parents!"
Penny Preston, Norley.
